Governance & Transparency

Governance is treated as central to Thabiti Alliance's credibility, not as a formality — it is intended to be visible on this page from the beginning rather than added once it is requested.

Family relationship disclosure

A family relationship among three Board members (the Founder, the Vice-Chairperson, and one Director) is disclosed in the organization's founding governance document, together with the recusal and quorum safeguards below. This disclosure is shown here deliberately and will not be hidden.

  • No decision materially affecting any of the three related persons may be approved without that person declaring the interest and recusing themselves from the vote.
  • The related group is not treated as entitled to any presumption of majority support by virtue of holding three of seven Board seats — the remaining four Directors' independent agreement is required for any related-party matter to proceed.
  • Quorum for any Board meeting may not be constituted solely by members of the related group.
  • The Board reviews this safeguard's continued adequacy whenever Board composition changes.
