Stability • Dignity • Opportunity
A child's future shouldn't depend on a barrier that could be removed.
Thabiti Alliance is being established in Kenya to identify those barriers, verify what's actually needed, and remove them — responsibly, starting in Kilifi County.
The Reality
What Actually Stands in the Way
For many families in Kenya, the obstacle between a child and a stable future isn't a lack of ability or effort — it's something specific, and often solvable.
A cost that arrives at the wrong time
School fees, uniforms, or learning materials due before a household has the means to cover them — not a lack of will to attend, but a specific, timed barrier.
A single household crisis
A lost income source, or an unexpected expense, that empties whatever stability existed, threatening a family's essential needs.
A safety concern needing real expertise
Circumstances affecting a child's wellbeing that require a careful, professional response — not one a family should have to navigate alone.
These barriers rarely make headlines. They are, however, decisive — often deciding whether a child stays in school this term, or a family gets through a hard season intact.
The Belief
Stability Changes What Becomes Possible
People do not need to be rescued from who they are — they need the ground under them to hold. Once that happens, the ability, effort, and aspiration that were already present start to matter again.
Stability
A secure foundation makes progress possible. Before people can move forward, they often need firm ground underneath them.
Dignity
Support should never require someone to surrender their dignity. Every person we work with is treated as a full human being, not a case number.
Opportunity
The goal is not simply relief — it is the possibility of moving forward, of a family shaping what comes next.
The Model
What Thabiti Alliance Intends to Do
Three pillars, each addressing a distinct, verifiable barrier — not a wider mandate chosen to look more impressive.
Education Access
Addressing verified, specific barriers that prevent a child from attending, participating in, or continuing school.

Give Us the Opportunity to Prove It.
Every organization that is trusted today once had a first project, a first partner, and no track record at all. Thabiti Alliance is at that beginning, and we intend to treat it as a discipline rather than a limitation.
We are not asking anyone to finance an untested promise at scale. We intend to begin with one clearly defined, measurable pilot in Kilifi County — a specific set of beneficiaries, a transparent budget, safeguarding built in before the first activity begins, and honest reporting on what does and doesn't work.
Our first commitment is not to grow quickly. It is to become an organization worth trusting with more.
How Support Becomes Accountable Action
This is the system Thabiti Alliance's founding governance is being built around — so that by the time the first pilot begins, "how do you know it worked" already has an answer.
- 1Need identified
- 2Eligibility verified
- 3Support approved
- 4Resources delivered
- 5Outcome documented
- 6Results reported
This describes the model Thabiti Alliance intends to operate under — not a claim that beneficiaries have already moved through it.
The Governance
Who Watches the Organization
Good intentions don't protect anyone's money — controls do. None of the following is a future promise. It is written into the document that establishes the organization.
- Organizational funds are held only in the organization's own bank account — never a personal one.
- No single person — including the Treasurer, Chairperson, or Vice-Chairperson — can authorize a payment alone.
- Related-party interests are disclosed in writing, with recusal from any decision affecting them.
- Child safeguarding policy and training must be complete before any activity involving direct contact with children begins.
- Donor-restricted funds are tracked and reported separately from general funds, from day one.
For Early Partners
Help Build the Evidence, Not Just the Budget
Early partnership with Thabiti Alliance is not simply about financing activities. It is about helping establish whether a carefully designed, locally grounded model can produce measurable results. Our first partners will help make that evidence possible — while the systems built around the pilot ensure that support is governed, documented and reported responsibly.
What begins as one carefully measured pilot can become the evidence for what deserves to grow.

Meaningful change begins with a clear need, a responsible plan, and the discipline to measure what happens next.
Thabiti Alliance is preparing its first carefully defined pilot in Kilifi County, Kenya. We intend to start at a scale where needs can be verified, resources can be accounted for, outcomes can be followed, and lessons can shape every decision that comes after.
For our first partners, this is an opportunity to do more than fund an activity — it is an opportunity to help establish the evidence, standards, and accountability upon which Thabiti Alliance intends to grow.
