About Us
Thabiti Alliance is a Kenya-based organisation being established to help vulnerable children and families overcome practical circumstances that can limit education, stability, safety, and opportunity — before a temporary setback becomes a lasting one.
Our work is grounded in dignity, careful assessment, and a simple belief: the barrier is the problem, not the person.
We believe meaningful support begins with listening, understanding what is standing in someone’s way, and responding in a way that respects their ability to participate in shaping their own future.
Thabiti Alliance was founded by Edna Choni Nguzo. Its founding Board was confirmed at the Founding Meeting, subject to formal legal appointment upon registration. Our governance structure, safeguards, and current registration status are available through our Governance & Transparency page.
What “Thabiti” Means
“Thabiti” is a Swahili word meaning stable, firm, or secure. The name reflects our belief that lasting opportunity begins with stability and dignity. When children and families have a strong foundation beneath them, they are better able to recover from setbacks, make confident choices, pursue opportunities, and shape their own futures.

Our mission is to strengthen vulnerable children and families in Kenya by helping them overcome barriers, build lasting stability, and access the opportunities they need to shape their own futures.
